Local Missionary Survives
60-Foot Fall In China
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009
Accidents can happen anywhere, at any time. When you are away from home they can be exceptionally costly.
In January, a Minnesota missionary teaching English in China fell 60 feet into a ravine. As quoted by Liz Conlin of WCCO:
“Matt cracked his skull and broke his neck. He was carried, by donkey, for three hours to a small village with a small hospital. They spent two days trying to come up enough credit cards to charge the $70,000 they needed to fly him to Hong Kong for real help. “
