We provide U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens with International insurance resources to ease the stress of an unfamiliar culture or medical system. Whether you need individual coverage for a vacation, or group coverage for employees in locations around the world, our site has a product to meet your needs. By utilizing our SelectaPlan®, we can quickly direct you to the plan(s) that will best meet your needs, those of your family, or organization. Below are product descriptions of the International plans we offer. You have the option of purchasing online or downloading an application and submitting the completed application via fax or mail.

Patriot Travel Medical Insurance®

Individual & family (5 days up to 2 years coverage)
There are two Patriot Travel Medical Insurance products available to meet your needs, providing up to US$2,000,000 of medical coverage. Coverage can be obtained from a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of 2 years. Patriot products address the travel medical insurance needs of U.S. citizens and foreign nationals who need temporary medical insurance while traveling for business or pleasure anywhere outside their home country. Coverage includes medical evacuation, repatriation, and your choice of deductibles and policy limits.

Patriot Extreme® Travel Medical Insurance

Extreme athletics and adventure insurance
Patriot Extreme is designed for the adventurous International traveler. Patriot Extreme provides benefits for those traveling abroad who also intend to participate in a select group of athletic activities or extreme sports.

Patriot Executive® Travel Medical Insurance

Business traveler (annual coverage)
If you are an executive that travels frequently outside your country of citizenship throughout the year, don't risk finding yourself ill or injured in a foreign country. Make sure you have a plan that provides appropriate medical coverage. Patriot Executive provides up to US$1,000,000 of medical coverage for these individuals and their families.

Patriot Exchange ProgramSM

Cultural Exchange Student insurance plans
Designed for students studying abroad or participants of cultural exchange programs. Two plan options are available. Basic short term travel plan is an economical plan while the Standard short-term travel plan is designed to meet the U.S. visa travel insurance requirements. Plans are available in monthly increments and if a minimum of 3 months is purchased, coverage may be renewed (without break in coverage) for a total of 24 months.

Patriot T.R.I.P.®

Travel Protection for trips up to 30 days
To help protect you from losing money you've spent on travel, there is Patriot T.R.I.P. Patriot T.R.I.P. helps protect travelers who are unable to travel or are interrupted during their covered trip due to circumstances such as a sudden and unexpected illness or injury, death in the family, jury duty, job layoff, terrorism or the bankruptcy of the tour operator, cruise line or airline. Benefits also include coverage in the event of travel and baggage delay, lost baggage, emergency medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation and more.

Patriot T.R.I.P. EliteSM

First Class Travel Protection
To provide superior protection for a picture perfect vacation, there is Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite, a premier travel insurance program. You expect top-notch service if the unexpected should happen. Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite offers a high level of benefits to travelers who need more coverage than provided by the Patriot T.R.I.P. program. The Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite program increases the benefit amount for emergency medical, emergency medical evacuation, travel delay, baggage, trip interruption and adds a new benefit for violent attacks. Make sure you have the premier protection you need with Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite.

Patriot StudentSM T.R.I.P.

Student Travel Insurance Program
Patriot Student T.R.I.P. is a "budget conscious" travel insurance program designed to provide important benefits to students for many of those unforeseen circumstances that may force the cancellation or interruption of a covered trip. This program also includes coverage for trip cancellation or interruption travel and baggage delay, lost or stolen baggage, emergency medical expenses and emergency medical evacuation.

Global Medical Insurance®

Individual & family (1 year or longer)
Global Medical Insurance is a long-term, annually renewable, U.S.-style major medical insurance plan. There are three plan options available: Silver, Gold and Platinum. The Silver and Gold plans provide US$5,000,000 of lifetime coverage, while the Platinum plan provides US$8,000,000 of lifetime coverage. Global Medical Insurance offers two areas of coverage to non-U.S. citizens and to U.S. expatriates who want a quality medical insurance plan that will respond to their medical needs anywhere in the world. The two areas of coverage are for people needing coverage worldwide or worldwide excluding U.S./Canada.

GEOSM Group

Employer sponsored group insurance
The Global Employer's Option (GEO) Group is one of the most comprehensive group hospital, surgical, medical and life insurance programs in the world. This program is designed for employers with employees who are either U.S. or Canadian citizens who reside abroad and may return to the US or Canada temporarily (for less than 12 months), or are overseas local and third country national employees. GEO Group allows employers to carve out their International employees to provide them with U.S.-style benefits and worldwide coverage. This program includes medical, dental, life and indemnity benefits for these employees and their families.

Patriot Group Travel Medical Insurance®

5 or more individuals (5 days up to 2 years)
Patriot Group Travel Medical Insurance is designed for organizations who have a group of 5 or more members that will be traveling together, and are traveling to a destination that is not the home country of any of the traveling members. Patriot Group Travel Medical Insurance provides the same benefits as the individual Patriot Travel Medical Insurance but with a 10% discount for applying as a group.

Sky RescueSM

Emergency Medical Evacuation
Sky Rescue provides emergency medical evacuation and scheduled coverage for individuals under the age of 65 traveling outside their home country for a minimum of three months. The plan may be purchased for three months, six months or 12 months and can be rewritten for succeeding or subsequent periods. New Deductible, Eligibility, Conditions of Coverage and Pre-Existing Condition Exclusions will apply and a new application must also be completed.

Student Health AdvantageSM

Long-term, worldwide medical insurance for groups of 2 or more international students
Student Health Advantage is designed to meet the needs of student visa requirements for group members and their dependents. This plan includes benefits for maternity, mental health and organized sports. After a period of 12 months, pre-existing conditions will be covered as well.

Patriot Group Exchange ProgramSM

Group cultural exchange student insurance plans
Designed for a group of students studying abroad or participants of a group cultural exchange program. Three plan options are available. Basic short term travel plan is an economical plan. Standard short-term travel plan is designed to meet the U.S. visa travel insurance requirements. Long-term annual plan has the flexibility to be tailored to meet specific needs of each program and can be renewed annually. Plans are available in monthly increments and if a minimum of 3 months is purchased, coverage may be renewed (without break in coverage) for a total of 24 months.
